Why Giant?

Facility consists of 4 rooms holding 120, 28, 28, and 27 people respectively. This means limited expansion opportunities unless we add alternate meeting dates. Lots of rooms but limited configurations with student desk/chairs in most rooms. Larger spaces are significantly more expensive.
Rooms are together on the second floor reached via stairs or an elevator. Rooms are spread out with long walks from one side of the school to the other.
Full AV equipment with a ceiling-mounted projector included. PACS needs to provide and setup a projector in each room on each day.
Wireless Internet access throughout. Unreliable wired connections; Proxy server settings must be changed on each PC; Some protocols and URIs blocked; PACS must provide and setup wireless routers in each room on each day.
No charge for non-profit organizations. UMSD charged us $5175 in 2007.
Plenty of free parking. Parking located a long walk from the rooms.
One way into the facility allows us to limit access to paid members. Multiple entrances means no way to control who enters.
Cafe located downstairs in the store. Limited menu; Minimum food purchase required - PACS paid $735 in 2007.
The store is 1/4 mile from SEPTA's R2 Willow Grove rail station and is at a SEPTA Rt 22 bus stop. No public transportation nearby.
The facility is available for scheduling on any day of the year. Unavailable in summer or on school days.
