Linux SIG

Hosted by: Aaron Segall

The PACS Linux SIG focuses on the Open Source Operating System commonly referred to as Linux, its many flavors (also known as Gnu/Linux Distributions), and the software that runs on it. We also occasionally look at other non-Linux Open Source Operating Systems such as FreeBSD.

Why learn and use Linux? Linux runs on everything from small embedded systems to the largest and fastest supercomputers. It’s fast, reliable, and highly customizable. Linux, with its large and diverse community of users and developers, is a great platform to learn and explore all aspects of computers. The PACS Linux SIG is just one tiny part of that community here to explore and learn with you.

Experts, novices, and those who are just curious are all welcomed and encouraged to attend.
